Compressed Psaronius trunks in silicified peat as they are typical
for the Freital site are
also seen on several samples assigned by HEINRICH COTTA
to Ruedigsdorf. If the suspicion
is confirmed that the questionable samples from COTTAīs
collection are really from
elsewhere, the list of Ruedigsdorf fossils has to be greatly reduced.
